Terms & Conditions

By booking accommodation or related services with The Adventure Lodge – Taranna (“we”, “our”, “us”), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
 

1. Bookings & Payments

• Bookings are confirmed once we have received your completed booking request and any required deposit or payment.

• Payment terms will be provided at the time of booking (deposit, balance due, etc.).

• Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
   

2. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations must be made in writing to: aaron@godivetassie.com.au

• Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to arrival may be eligible for a refund, less any administrative fees.

• Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable.

• No refunds will be given for early departures or no-shows.

• In exceptional circumstances (e.g. government restrictions, safety closures), we may offer rescheduling or credit at our discretion.
   

3. Group Bookings

• The Adventure Lodge is designed for exclusive use by schools, clubs, and group bookings.

• Duty of care and supervision remain the responsibility of the group organisers (e.g. teachers or group leaders).

• We do not provide staff supervision or hold Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) checks.
   

4. Lodge Use & Responsibilities

• Guests must remain within the Adventure Lodge property and designated areas. Entry into the adjacent private residence or commercial buildings is strictly prohibited.

• Guests must treat the property, facilities, and surrounding environment with respect.

• Damage to property, equipment, or facilities may result in repair or replacement charges.

• The lodge is a non-smoking facility.

• Noise levels must be kept reasonable, particularly after 10pm, in consideration of neighbours and the local community.
   

5. Facilities & Equipment

• Guests are responsible for bringing their own bedding, towels, food supplies, and personal items (unless otherwise arranged).

• Optional Gear Shed hire may be added to bookings and is subject to availability.

• Safety instructions provided by staff must be followed at all times when using facilities (e.g. gear washdown area, heating).
   

6. Liability & Insurance

• All guests participate in activities and use the lodge facilities at their own risk.

• We accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage to personal property.

• Groups are strongly encouraged to hold their own travel insurance, event insurance, or equivalent cover.
   

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Tasmanian courts.
